Dalyla Santos is the founding and managing attorney at The Santos Law Offices, PA where she primarily focuses her practice on Immigration Law, Bankruptcy Law, Insurance Litigation and General Civil Litigation. Mrs. Santos was born in Cuba, and moved to the United States with her parents when she was fourteen years old. After arriving to the United States Mrs. Santos and her parents faced the hardships of millions of immigrants. Despite the disadvantages, her parents not only set up the expectation that she would attend college but also supported her by fostering a sense of responsibility and that with hard work she could accomplish anything.
Years of Experience
Mrs. Santos earned her Bachelor Degree of Science in Legal Studies and Marketing from the University of Central Florida. She attended Florida A & M University College of Law and while pursuing her law degree, she was a member of the Hispanic American Law Student Association and volunteered for Orange County Teen Court and homeless shelters. She also had the opportunity to intern in the areas of Personal Injury, Insurance Defense, and Immigration. Upon completion of her Juris Doctorate, Mrs. Santos was admitted to The Florida Bar in April 2009.
Mrs. Santos began her career as a lawyer in Orlando, Florida as an associate in a large firm where she primarily represented individuals in immigration, foreclosure, debt litigation, bankruptcy, debt harassment and insurance claims. It was during her first five years of practicing that her passion for the legal field was greatly fortified. Mrs. Santos moved to Miami, Florida in 2014 to join as a partner in a boutique firm focusing her practice on Immigration Law, Bankruptcy and Consumer Protection Law.
Realizing the need for personalized, accessible and reliable legal services Mrs. Santos took a leap of faith and opened her own law practice in 2017, The Santos Law Offices, PA. In addition to having a passion for the law, she feels a strong sense of responsibility to serve the community through her charity work and pro bono work.
